Forest sleigh with lifting device attachment. A really handy size for hauling firewood. The rear log bed is also swivelling, so even large logs can be towed behind. The bunk rails also have chain hooks for skidding. The tow frame attaches to the tractor’s lift arms, which means good weight can be transferred to the tractor’s rear wheels when lifting. The tow frame can also be released to float freely when moving between trees. Loading height is only 350 mm, so wood is easy to load by hand. Load bed dimensions: width 1400 mm. With logs of about 2000 mm-3000 mm, they stay securely in place. Bunk height 900 mm. The sleigh needs a bit of workshop work before use. The runners are worn through. Easy to weld new flat bar underneath or fit an axle and wheels. This would make a good forest-work sleigh or even a base for a hunting hide, easy to tow into rough terrain with a tractor. Or for some other build project. The sleigh can be lifted onto a forklift for collection free of charge. It also transports well on a passenger car trailer when placed on its side, or straight on board a trailer 1600 mm wide. No pickup fees/collection charges are charged for collecting the item. Collection can be arranged flexibly, also in the evenings and at weekends. There is no rush with collection, and it can be arranged flexibly if needed.
